Hotel Mesón del Cid, located in the central Plaza de Santa Maria, opposite the Cathedral of Burgos, is known to have been built next to the building that formerly served as Printing House of Master Basel German Fadrique, himself a student of Johannes Gutenberg, and now occupies the front of our precious Restaurant.

The Meson del Cid Restaurant, located in Burgos and Madrid, offer the best traditional Castilian cuisine of the moment. The Lopez Alzaga family, was tasked to convert the historical building into a paradigm of Castilian cuisine in the old city.
